Joe Squared Pizza on West North Avenue in Baltimore’s Station North Arts District was one of the city’s most celebrated pizza destinations for nearly two decades, building a reputation around square-pan pizzas with creative topping combinations and a live music venue atmosphere that made it as much a Baltimore cultural institution as a food one. It appeared in Season 13, Episode 13 of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, “Outside the Box,” which aired March 5, 2012. Guy Fieri found a Baltimore pizza kitchen doing creative square pies with the quality and personality that earns an arts-district restaurant its destination reputation. Joe Squared closed at the end of 2023.
