Ortegaz’ Southwestern Grill on Sir Walter Raleigh Street in Manteo has been serving authentic Mexican and Southwestern cooking to the Dare County community since it opened, bringing the chile-forward flavors and slow-braised meats of the Mexican and Southwestern table to a coastal North Carolina island town that had very little access to this cooking tradition.
