Smalley’s Caribbean Barbeque appeared in Season 14, Episode 6 of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, “Unexpected Eats,” which aired May 7, 2012, as a Stillwater, Minnesota Caribbean BBQ operation bringing the jerk seasonings and island cooking traditions of the Caribbean to a historic St. Croix River valley town that had no business having this good a Caribbean BBQ spot, and yet there it was. The restaurant has since permanently closed.
