Zydeco’s on East Main Street in Mooresville has been bringing authentic Cajun and Creole cooking to a small Morgan County Indiana town that had no business having this good a Louisiana restaurant, and yet here it is. It appeared in Season 12, Episode 7 of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, “Homemade and Homebrewed,” which aired October 3, 2011. Guy Fieri found a scratch-made Cajun kitchen producing gumbo, étouffée, and the full Louisiana comfort food catalog with the authenticity that earns a destination reputation in a market where the cuisine is essentially unavailable for a 50-mile radius.
